Artinya item pertanyaan tersebut valid, atau pertanyaan tersebut dapat digunakan untuk mengukur variabel

Pertanyaan kuesioner dapat terkait dengan variabel yang digunakan, misal pertanyaan mengenai insentif terkait dengan besaran insentif telah sesuai, insentif diberikan secara adil

Menggunakan nilai r hitung > r tabel

Jumlah sample sebanyak 60, maka df = (n-2), df = 58 sehingga r tabel sebesar 0,2542

Berdasarkan tabel di atas keseluruhan r hitung > r tabel, maka dengan metode kedua semua instrumen dinyatakan valid
