Pare, the english city in Indonesia, many people come there to learning about english. Pare is my dream 12 years ago. Yeah its my dream when I was graduated from Semarang State University. But why 12 years ago, Im not go to Pare? I dont mind, I just prepared how to get job as soon as possible, its my fault. Anyway I came to Pare just to remind my conversation, coz actually I speak english before i go there.
Talking about my dreams, Pare one of my dream that i written in my dreams list 12 years ago. I written it in a piece of paper and put on the cupboard. Why i do that? Coz when we have a dream and read it everyday "alam bawah sadar" will make we try to reach that. So more I read that dream more I try to reach that. Six months after I graduated I have been working in Semarang State University till now, its around 2013. How about Pare? still confusing coz "tidak mungkin Aku cuti 2 Minggu" for course right? dan akhirnya kukubur mimpiku ke Pare dalam dalam
12 years later, setelah Aku sudah lupa dengan mimpi tersebut tiba - tiba tawaran itu datang. Actually bukan tawaran sih, lebih tepatnya menawarkan diri..😀. Tempatku bekerja sedang gencar gencarnya proses pengembangan SDM. UNNES sedang bertransformasi menjadi PTNBH sehingga pengembangan SDM menjadi perhatian lebih. One of personal improve is speaking in english. Every direction selected 2 person two join course in Pare. Absolutely Aku langsung daftar dan the only one from Directorate Planning and Finance, so i got a golden ticket to join course 😍
Sempat galau antara berangkat tidak, karena itu menjelang pengumuman CPNS. Bingung kalau keterima ngurus berkasnya gimana. Qodarullah 2 hari sebelum berangkat pengumuman keluar and Iam a second, not the fisrt. But its okay, Allah always know what the best for me. So, its make me sure that i wanna go to Pare.
Saturday, 13 of January 2023 we went to Pare by train. We, coz we went to Pare are 4 people, there are Me, Miss Ledy, Nowva, and Mita. We are as a second team, coz the first is already in Pare around a weeks. We start from Semarang Tawang at 20.30 by Brawijaya train and came to Kediri around 02.00 in the Sunday morning. Sesampainya di Kediri kami sudah ditunggu penjemput dari Brill (course). Perjalanan around 1 jam dari train station We arrived to Pare. Sesampainya di Pare pukul 03.00 dini hari, Kami registrasi kedatangan di office Brill yg open 25 hours. Yeah its their motto, open 25 hours. After we paid everthing about course, camp, and anything we waiting until 7 in the morning. Coz all of a camp is open in 7 morning yaa. We wait in waiting room, anyway theres another people before in waiting room.
Around 8 in the morning we transfer to our camp, its a beautiful expensive camp, hahahha. Camp 16 is located behind Brill, so its very closed with Brill that's way the price is most expensive in Brill Camps. We got in room 15 in the second floors. The rooms have 2 beds "modelnya tingkat", AC, and absolutely bathroom inside. Our first day in Pare we didn't have agenda, just have placement test in 2 afternoon. So, to waiting until 2 oclock we have tour city by our friend that arrived before (Mr Roschid and Mr Ilham). Just walked around Brill to take some foods and snacks. For placement test, all of us get Pre Basic level.. wkwkkwkwk, as that i guessed before.
- For woman camps, jam malamnya sampai pukul 21.00, and for man is 21.30
- Morning expression at 04.30 morning every Monday and Thursday, to learn about anything expression
- Religious Meting at 18.30 every Monday and Friday, all of Brill member come to Brill course to pray together
- Study camp at 18.30 every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Morning walk at 04.30 every Friday, we walked around Brill as a couple from another camp of Brill. and we talked about anything that we shared before
In every camp we have a leader camp. So, u cant seenaknya di camp coz we have rules too and have leader camp to oversee
Its about our activity beside our class. and for class Brill have two type, there are
- Type 1 start from 06.15 morning until 07.30 fisrt class, and the next is start from 07.30 till 08.30. After that we have free class and start again for the third is 12.15 until 01.30 and the last class is 01.30 till 02.30
- Type 2, start from 09.00 until 10.00, the second class is 10.00 till 11.00, and free time, the third is start from 15.00 till 16.00 and the last is 16.00 till 17.00
and we got the type 1
If u think that we have free time in Pare, its a fault, big no... Although we have free time, but we have many home work too, so our free time is doing home work. I will explain about each class that I have in Pare
Speaking class, actually i love speaking coz I can explore my diction, my vocab and makes me more fluently to speak english. Coz my last conversation class is in 2022. But actually, i cant improve my conversation, wkwkkwk. I just more confident to speak english here. Coz i think I take only short time to there so I can't explore more my speaking in english. I think if I dont have commit to speak english when in Pare with my self, with roommates, and my classmates I cant speak more confident. Sometimes Im like a police to remind all of people around me to speak english. But, I loved it, coz many people more have a spirit to learn english. Our tutor name is Mr Alfin, he's so funny and talked anything about his self 😅
As a speaking class so for final exam we have to make video and talking anything in English, yaaa its okay lah
Grammar, oh My Goodness. Why Im not interest in english? its because of structure, grammar and anything else. If just to talked, i just talked, thats okay. But grammar? hohoho. But Alhamdulillah coz of Our tutor Mr Bani I can analyze structure more good. Anyway i like smart people, and Im so amazed with him. He's a smart mysterious people, wkwkwkkwk. Back to grammar, in two weeks we only learn 6 tenses, gerund, and noun phrase. Surprisingly I am the smartest and the got the highest score in class. Im little bit proud of my self. Its not because Mr nya yaaa... But He explained so clear so I can analyze good. Thanks Sir... Ditanya dan diajak diskusi perihal grammar Beliau itu mau balas wa jam berapapun. MasyaAllah sekali kaannnn... gak tau mau ngmong apa pokoknya He's the best. Anyway I've tips to learn grammar. I record our activity in class and take a picture. After class when i've a free time, I write again what i got before. Try it, its good for me
